CERRO DE LAS CIGÜEÑAS Y BRAZO DEL ESTE

El pasado viernes asistí a una asamblea de GOSUR (Grupo Ornitológico del Sur) y entre otras cosas me enteré que habían visto Cercetas Carretonas en el Cerro de las Cigüeñas y en el Brazo del Este, así que decidí repetir con el hide en el Cerro de las Cigüeñas. El sábado por la noche recibí una llamada de Luis Miguel, un estudiante de Biología, que ya me había acompañado en una ocasión anterior para intentar ver Avutardas, y me dijo que me quería acompañar. Me volvió a fallar el despertador del móvil y recogí a Luis Miguel media hora más tarde. En el camino, con las prisas, creo que me echó una foto un radar fijo que controla la velocidad en el puente del V Centenario. Llegamos al Cerro de las Cigüeñas cuando ya había amanecido y observamos que allí estaba aparcado el coche de Diego Conradi. Cargamos los equipos y nos fuimos al sitio donde ibamos a poner el hide, y allí estaba Diego, estrenando un hide nuevo. Montamos el mío y a esperar. Pronto se posaron un grupo de Cigüeñuelas y un Archibebe común, a los cuales les hicimos muchas fotos, más tarde llegaron unos Andarríos Grandes y poco más. Poco a poco se fué levantando un viento fuerte muy molesto, que nos movía bastante los hides, así que decidimos recoger todo y dirigirnos a los coches. Seguidamente nos fuímos al Brazo del Este con el fin de buscar las Cercetas Carretonas. Tengo que decir que el Brazo del Este está desolador, apenas hay aves ni vegetación, recorrimos algunos carriles sin observar nada importante y decidimos ir hacia la zona de Hermosilla. Y allí sí había bastante agua y por fin vimos a un grupo de unas 10 Cercetas Carretonas, les hice fotos pero estaban demasiado lejos, pero por lo menos, pongo aquí una aunque sea documental. Sobre las 12,30 h. regresamos a Sevilla. Pudimos ver las siguientes especies:

Last Friday I was present at GOSUR's assembly (Ornithological Group of the South) and among other things I found out that they had seen Garganeyes in the Cerro de las Cigüeñas and in the Brazo del Este, so I decided to repeat with the hide in the Cerro de las Cigüeñas. On Saturday night I received a call of Luis Miguel, a student of Biology, who already had accompanied me in a previous occasion to try to see Buzzards, and he said to me that he wanted to accompany me. It returned to trumping the alarm clock of the mobile one and I gathered Luis Miguel half an hour later. In the way, with the hurries, I believe that a photo threw a fixed radar that controls the speed in the bridge of the V Centenario. We come to the Cerro de las Cigüeñas when already it had dawned and observe that there Diego Conradi's car was parked. We load the equipments and we went away to the site where to putting the hide, and there Diego was, releasing a new hide. We mount mine and to waiting. Soon there settled a group of Black-winged stilts and a common Redshank, which we did many photos, later came a few Green Sand Pipers and little more. Little by little there was getting up a strong very troublesome wind, which was moving us enough the hides, so we decide to gather everything and to go to the cars. Immediately we going to the Brazo del Este in order to look for the Garganeyes. I have to say that the Brazo del Este is distressing, scarcely there is neither birds nor vegetation, we crossed some rails without observing anything important and decided to go towards Hermosilla's zone. And there yes there was enough water and finally we saw to a group of approximately 10 Garganeyes, I did photos to them but they were too far, but at least, I put here one though it is documentary. On 12:30 pm. return to Seville. We could see the following species:
