MARISMAS DEL ODIEL
Crónica 04/02/07El sábado llovío bastante en Sevilla, por lo que todos los carriles de tierra estarían enfangados, así que me decidí por ir el domingo a las Marismas del Odiel. Me volvió a fallar la alarma del móvil y cuando miré la hora eran las 07,40 h. Se me quitaron las ganas de ir, pero lo pensé un poco, me levanté de la cama y lo preparé todo apresuradamente. En la carretera hacia Huelva pude apreciar diferentes bancos de niebla. Llegué a las Marismas del Odiel sobre las 09,00 h. Instalé el hide en una playita que hay a la entrada del dique, pero la marea estaba demasiado baja, empezaron a entrar algunos pájaros como Chorlito Gris y Chorlitejo Grande, pero de repente, se vino un banco de niebla impresionante. Estuve esperando unas dos horas para que se levantase la niebla, pero no entraron muchos pájaros, así que decidí recogerlo todo y regresar despacio por la carretera y el telescopio montado en el asiento del acompañante para hacer algunas fotos. Estando parado se aproximó hacia mí un colega que también estaba haciendo fotos con una Canon 400D y un teleobjetivo de 500 mm. Estuvimos charlando un rato y me dijo que había estado en Veta La Palma (Isla Mayor-Sevilla) y que conocía al gerente y que si yo quería podíamos quedar para ir algún día allí a hacer fotos. Yo le contesté encantado que sí, ya que Veta La Palma es una finca particular en la cual hay una gran cantidad de pájaros y no dejan entrar a nadie, a no ser que vayas con una excursión turística concertada. Me despedí de Enrique Gallego y continué hasta que llegó la hora de regresar. En definitiva, mucho tiempo perdido en el hide con la dichosa niebla, pero de todas formas, observé menos cantidad de aves que en otras ocasiones. He podido observar las siguientes:
On Saturday rained enough in Seville, by what all the rails of land would be covered with mud, so I decided for going on Sunday to the Marshes of the Odiel. It returned to trumping the alarm of the mobile one and when I looked the hour they were the 07,40 h. The desires removed themselves me of going, but I thought it a bit, got up of the bed and prepared everything hurriedly. In the highway towards Huelva I could estimate different banks of fog. I came to the Marshes of the Odiel on the 09,00 h. I installed the hide in a beach that exists at the entry of the dike, but the tide was too low, they started approaching some birds as Black-bellied Plover and Common Ringed Plover, but suddenly, one came a bank of impressive fog. I was waiting approximately two hours in order that the fog was getting up, but they did not approach many birds, so I decided to gather everything and to return slow for the highway and the telescope mounted in the seat of the accompanist to do some photos. Being stopped there came closer towards me a colleague who also was doing photos with one Canon 400D and one tele of 500 mm. We were chatting awhile and he said to me that there had been in Veta La Palma (Isla Mayor-Sevilla) and that he knew the manager and that if I wanted we could stay to be going some day to do there photos. I answered him been charmed with that yes, since Veta La Palma is a particular estate in which there is a great quantity of birds and they do not leave to enter anybody, unless you go with a tourist compound excursion. I said goodbye of Enrique Gallego and I continued until the hour of returning came. Definitively, a lot of time lost in the hide with the happy fog, but of all forms, I observed except quantity of birds that in other occasions. I could have observed the following ones:
