PARQUE DEL ALAMILLO (SEVILLA)
El Parque del Alamillo fue construído con motivo de la celebración de la Exposición Universal de 1992 (Expo-92). Tiene una superficie aproximada de 50 hectareas y se tiene prevista una ampliación de más del doble de la superficie actual. La vegetación principal está formada por árboles y arbustos autóctonos mediterráneos. Exiten dos 
lagos en el interior del parque con la típica vegetación palustre de eneas, juncos, carrizos, tarajes, etc. Todo esto hace que sea una zona donde las aves son muy abundantes, llegándose a contabilizar el 25% de las especies existentes en la península ibérica.
El Grupo Ornitológico del Sur (GOSUR), perteneciente a la
Sociedad Española de Ornitología (SEO), ha establecido en el parque la “Estación Ornitológica Parque del Alamillo” y desde 1996 viene haciendo labores de anillamientos, estudios de nidificación, colocación de cajas nido, etc., para tener un mejor conocimiento de las aves existentes en el parque. En estos últimos años han sido más de 10.000 las aves anilladas en el parque por este grupo ornitológico.
El parque es un buen campo de trabajo para practicar Digiscoping, ya que la mayor parte de las aves están acostumbradas a la presencia humana y por lo tanto son más confiadas. Al principio me daba un poco de vergüenza andar por el parque con el equipo a cuestas, porque la gente me miraba un poco sorprendida, pero ya me he acostumbrado a ello y lo que hago es que yo no miro a la gente, jejeje. A continuación os pongo unas fotografías tomadas en dicho parque.
The Park of the Alamillo was done on the occasion of the celebration of the Universal Exhibition of 1992 (Expo-92). It has an approximate surface of 50 hectares and an amplification is had foreseen of more than the double of the current surface. The principal vegetation is formed by trees and autochthonous Mediterranean shrubs. Two lakes exist inside the park with eneas's typical marshy vegetation, rushes, reed-grasses, tarajes, etc. All that does that it is a zone where the birds are very abundant, managing to assess 25 % of the existing species in the Iberian peninsula.
The Ornithological Group of the South (GOSUR), belonging to the Spanish Society of Ornithology (SEO), has established in the park the " Ornithological Station Park of the Alamillo " and from 1996 it comes doing labors of ringings, studies of nest building, placement of boxes nest, etc., to have a better knowledge of the existing birds in the park. In the latter years they have been more than 10.000 the birds ringed in the park by this ornithological group.
The park is a good field of work to practise Digiscoping, since most of the birds is accustomed to the human presence and therefore they are more trusting. Initially I was giving myself a bit of shame to walk for the park with the equipment piggyback, because the people were looking at me a bit surprised, but already I have got used to it and what I do is that I do not look at the people, jejeje. Later I put a few photographies taken in the above mentioned park.

Hola Fernando,
siempre he tenido ganas de visitar ese parque pero unas veces por una cosa y otras por otra, al final me voy de Sevilla sin pasar por allí. Y es que encima está cerquita de donde vive la familia de mi novia. Pero ya caerá.... jejejeje.
