CERRO DE LAS CIGÜEÑAS Y BRAZO DEL ESTE

Hoy he vuelto al Cerro de las Cigüeñas, pero esta vez con el hide en vez de la red de camuflaje. Cuando llegué al sitio me sentí decepcionado, ya que el nivel del agua ha bajado considerablemente, en tan sólo 6 días la orilla en la que me puse el domingo pasado había descendido al menos 20 metros. Coloqué el hide y a los 5 minutos se posó una Cigüeña común a una buena distancia para hacerle fotos, al mismo tiempo iban entrando Chorlitejos. Pude estar disfrutando de los intentos de caza de un Aguilucho Lagunero y de un Halcón Peregrino (pobres Cigüeñuelas), así como de un Pechiazul a pocos metros, pero en general habían pocos pájaros y bastante lejos, por lo que a las 10 de la mañana lo recogí todo y me fuí al Brazo del Este. En el Brazo del Este lo más destacable fué dos grupos de Cigüeñas Negras (uno de 8 y otro de 5), una Garceta Grande y dos Cormoranes, que son los primeros que veo después de la cría. En general he visto pocos pájaros en el Brazo, creo, que debido a la recogida de arroz y algodón hay muchísimo movimiento de cosechadoras, tractores y camiones, estos últimos a unas velocidades increibles por los carriles principales. He podido ver las siguientes especies:

In the Brazo del Este the most prominent thing was two groups of Black Storks (one of 8 and other one of 5), a White Egretand two Great Cormorant, which are the first ones that I see this season. In general I have seen few birds in the Brazo, believe, that due to the withdrawal of rice and cotton there is very much movement of combine-harvesters, tractors and trucks, the above mentioned to a few incredible speeds for the principal rails.
