BRAZO DEL ESTE (SEVILLA)

Hoy tenía la tarde libre y me acerqué al Brazo del Este, me dirigí por la parte norte por la finca de El Cestero y paré el coche cerca de unos árboles y al mirar hacia la izquierda observé a una rapaz posada en el suelo en la orilla de un canal de riego, se trataba de un ratonero. Me extrañó que no se fuese, así que me bajé del coche con el equipo con la intención de hacerle fotos, el ratonero saltó y se fué un poco más abajo, entonces nada más que podía hacerle fotos de la cabeza, esperé detrás de un árbol por si volvía a salir, pero viendo que no se movía comenzé a hacerle fotos cada vez más cerca, y mis sospechas de que el ratonero estuviese herido se hacían cada vez más claras, estuve a sólo un par de metros de él y en ese instante pasó el guarda forestal del Brazo del Este, le avisé, paró el vehículo y le expliqué lo que sucedía, en ese momento el ratonero saltó hacia la orilla opuesta del canal y el guarda se metió en la finca y lo cogió, pero me explicó que podía cogerlo pero no lo podía llevar al CREA (Centro de Recuperación de Especies Amenazadas) de San Jerónimo, así que decidí llevarlo yo. Cuando lo cogí me dió una pena impresionante, al observar que su pata izquierda estaba en estado de putrefacción, al animal no paraban de acosarle las moscas que incluso le rodeaban los ojos entre 8 o 10 al mismo tiempo. Le dí de beber agua de una botella que yo llevaba y lo llevé al CREA, cuando llegué me recibió la veterinaria y al hacerle una primera observación me dijo que seguramente el pájaro había sufrido una electrocución y me enseñó el hombro del ave, que presentaba también una herida ya cicatrizada, por lo que un cable le daría en la pata y otro en el ala. Me dijo que poca solución tendría, y pensándolo, llevaba razón, pues este ave al ser depredadora, sin una pata e incapacitada para el vuelo no podría recuperarse. Yo ya no le quise preguntar por el destino del ave y regresé otra vez al Brazo del Este, pudiendo observar las especies más comunes en esta fecha. Si tengo que reseñar que he observado que le han metido demasiada agua al Brazo del Este, por lo que no hay formadas pequeñas playas para los limícolas, de hecho no ví ninguno, excepto un Chorlitejo patinegro.
Espero no haberos aburrido con esta crónica, pero considero que refleja el eterno problema de los tendidos eléctricos que hieren y matan a muchísimas aves todos los años y parece que nunca tiene solución.

It surprised that it did not go away, so I stooped the car with the equipment with the intention of doing photos to it, the Common buzzard jumped and went away a bit down below, then at all more than it could do photos of the head, I waited behind a tree for if it was returning to go out, but seeing that was not moving I shotting it increasingly nearby, and my suspicions that the buzzard was hurt were becoming increasingly clear, I was to only two meters of it and in this instant there happened the ranger of the Brazo del Este, I warned him, he stopped the vehicle and I explained to him what was happening, in this moment the buzzard jumped towards the opposite shore of the channel and the guard got into the estate and caught it, but he made clear to me that he could catch it but not to be able to take it to CREA (Center of Recovery of Threatened Kinds) of San Jerónimo, so I decided to take it. When I caught it made me sad, on having observed that him left leg was in condition of rot, to the animal he was not stopping being harassed by the flies that enclosed him were surrounding the eyes among 8 or 10 at the same time. I give of drinking water of a bottle that I was taking and I took it to CREA, when I came the veterinary one received and on having made to him myself the first observation said that surely the bird had suffered an electrocution and showed me the shoulder of the bird, which there was presenting also one hurt already cicatrizada, for what a cable would give him in the leg and other one in the wing. She said to me that few solution would have, and thinking she was taking reason, so this bird to the being predator, without a leg and incapacitated for the flight it might not recover. I already did not want to ask him about the destiny of the bird and returned again to the Brazo del Este, being able to observe the most common kinds in this date.
If I have to outline that I have observed that they have put too many water to the Brazo del Este, for what it has not formed small beaches for the shorebirds, in fact I did not see any, except a Kentish Plover.I wait not to have got bored with this chronicle, but I think that it reflects the eternal problem of the electrical layings that hurt and kill to many birds every year and it seems that it never has solution.
